Global Crude Steel Output in July

According to the statistics of 70 countries by the World Iron and Steel Association, the world crude steel output in July was 149.2 million tons, down 0.3% year-on-year.

China, the world's largest producer of crude steel, produced 76.9 million tons in July, down 3.6%. Among other Asian countries, India's output was 14.4 million tons, an increase of 1.9%. Japan's output was 6.9 million tons, up 0.4%. South Korea's output was 5.7 million tons, up 6.4%. Vietnam's output was 2.7 million tons, an increase of 34.7%, and continued to maintain rapid growth.

Turkey's output was 3.4 million tons, an increase of 7.0%.

The output of the 27 EU countries was 10.5 million tons, an increase of 3.8%. Among them, Germany's output was 2.8 million tons, an increase of 3.0%.

Russia's output was 5.7 million tons, up by 3.3%.

The output of the United States was 7.4 million tons, up by 4.4%.

Brazil's output was 2.8 million tons, an increase of 0.1%.
